The Glenwood High School Titan Fever Show Choir is proud to host their 3rd Annual “The EVENT” show choir competition, Friday, February 27, and Saturday, February 28, featuring award winning groups from throughout the Midwest. Our own Titan Fever will perform in exhibition at 9:25 p.m. on Friday and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at the GHS auditorium. Tickets are available each day at the door for $10. This Friday night’s game - Glenwood Titans vs Lincoln Rail Splitters - at Lincoln will determine the CS8 champions. The sophomore game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with the varsity game to follow. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Seating will be limited. Plan to arrive as early as possible to assure a seat. There will be limited standing room also. GO TITANS!!
at Girls State Finals
Glenwood High School student, Samantha Biel, has been selected to perform on Friday, March 6, in Peoria, the National Anthem during the IHSA Girls Class 3A/4A State Final Basketball Tournament. This selection was made via audition in cooperation with the Illinois Music Educators Association. In preparation for her performance on the 6th, Samantha will sing the National Anthem at GHS before the 1st round of boys varsity regionals on Monday, March 2 at 7 p.m.; and the 2nd round of regionals on Tuesday, March 3 at 6 p.m. Congratulations Samantha!

GHS and GMS Band students are selling Butter Braids and other baking goods through March 4. Sale items include:
- Butter Braid pastries in Caramel, Cinnamon, Cherry, Strawberry, Blueberry & Cream Cheese.
- Premixed cookie dough for making dozens of chunky Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, White Chocolate Macadamia, Peanut Butter and M&M cookies.
- Pizzas by the pair: Pepperoni, Meat Lovers, Barbeque Chicken and Four-Cheese varieties.
The Glenwood Athletic Boosters have new spirit wear items (see attached forms) and a new website where orders can be placed. Do you have gently used prom dresses hanging in your closet? Glenwood High School is looking for prom dresses to donate to students. Last year, approximately 15 dresses were given to students from GHS and also surrounding districts. Please consider supporting our students by donating your used prom dresses.
